Puppy Love / Love Cats @ Krisers Nov 3rd

Hello, Pumpkin here! Since Precious is able to blog all by herself, I decided to give it a try too.

On Saturday Mommy and I went to one of my favorite places - Krisers!  I was so excited because my very good friend Dazzle was working that day, and I love Dazzle because her Mommy gives me treats!  But I wasn't just there to get treats - oh no!  Now that I am Japanese Chin of the Year I have to promote good causes.  My good cause is Puppy Love / Love Cats animal rescue.  You see, I want to help the homeless animals find homes, because otherwise I am scared my own Mommy will adopt them and I don't like to share!

I met two homeless animals on Saturday and here is what I think of them.

#1 Illyria
Illyria, what a beauty.

I do not like this girl one bit and I will tell you why.  She is way too friendly! I hadn't even sniffed her butt yet and she already bowed down and wanted to play with me.  And that's not all.  When I had my head turned she covered my mommy's face with big sloppy kisses.  That is my mommy, not yours!

Although Illyria is a bit much for a tiny dog like me to take, I am concerned about her.  You see, she is living in a kennel right now and she is very grateful that they are saving their life, but she would be so much happier living in a house with people and a TV and everything.   She would even be happy to find a foster home, so she can catch up on the " Mr. Muggles Show" while waiting for her forever friend.  So if you are interested, check out her web page for more info.

#2 Spirit
Spirit

Now this is my kind of dog!  He is handsome and very mellow.  He didn't bug me at all, and he let my mommy give him pets without slobbering all over her.  And he is very smart.  He has his very own blog!

Spirit is way chill, he does not mind hanging out all day while his Mommy and Daddy are at work.  But there is one instance where he isn't mellow, and that's when he sees a squirrel!  He will start running after it like crazy, after all he is a dog and that's his job.  He needs a strong friend who will stop him the very second he sees a squirrel and who will work on this issue with a trainer.  But Spirit is such a wonderful guy, I think he is worth the extra effort.  To learn more about Spirit check out his web page.

One way you can help Illyria and Spirit is to buy the 2008 Japanese Chin Calendar featuring yours truly on the cover.  A portion of the proceeds will go to Puppy Love / Love Cats. Who could ask for a better holiday gift?

xoxo
