Happy Birthday to Krisers Belmont

So today I had a nice adventure with my Mom.

You know I get all my food at Krisers right, and it is right in my neighborhood. I had a nice friend there named Mina, and she always gave me treats when I came in.  But I haven't seen her in ages.

Today my mom took me on the eL in my carrying case. We rode for a while and when we got off we were at another Krisers. One I never saw before. When I went in, I was greeted by this Pomeranian.

And then I saw Mina! And it turns out the Pomeranian is Bowser, Mina's new dog!  What a handsome fellow, and how lucky he is to get to hang out at Krisers all day eating treats. Of course Mina shared a nice treat with me, it was chicken wrapped around sweet potato.

The downside of hanging out with Bowser is that his coat is so fluffy it makes my coat look really drab. (These pictures do not do his coat justice, its amazing.)  But the plus side is I look very slender and that's important for modeling.

There was a 1 year anniversary party going on for that particular Krisers and we entered a raffle and got a goody bag of treats. Mom also bought me a bone made of salmon skin that is absolutely yummers. (Though mom said it was stinky, people have no sense of taste or smell as far as I can tell.)

After the party at Krisers Mom took me to Wiggly Field, a nearby dog park. What's great about Wiggly Field is that it has a separate VIP section. I do love my fans, but I don't like to be crowded by them in a public place.

Mom used the VIP section so I could practice my tricks outside.  Since I don't have my own yard I don't have a lot of places where I can practice off leash. Mom was so happy because she could walk in a big circle around me, even in back of me, while I did my sit stay. The eL train passed by but I didn't even care.

Of course the VIP section serves the best beverages.

Here I am waiting for my train in my bag. I'm a little miffed we didn't take a limo, but Mom said going green is all the rage in Hollywood right now.

xoxo

    Hey Pumpkin,
I was totally scared there for a second because Bowser bears an uncanny resemblance to a particularly nasty skunk who sprayed me twice.
But, whew, he's only a Pomeranian. Course, I don't like those much either. All the fur freaks me out a bit.
